AUTHOR ILLUSTRATOR PSYCHOTHERAPIST MENTOR
I make books,
and help other people make books,
and support them if their brain feels a bit wobbly in the process.

All my life I have loved stories most of all. And dogs, of course. And these days I get paid to make books that include as many of the things I love as I want, and what could be better than that?
My debut picture book ‘The Messenger’ will be published by Bloomsbury in September 2026, and is a long-form wordless book that follows the story of a messenger dog in the trenches of WW1.
I have an MA with distinction in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art, and I love to make stories with deep, emotional themes that make readers feel things.
As well as making books I am a qualified psychotherapist with over 15 years experience in a variety of settings. Now I work solely in private practice and my favourite people to work with are fellow creatives, or people who used to be creative and are worried that time is running out.
I’m passionate about art making, and all the emotional stuff that gets in the way of us making our work. So if this is you, get in touch and we can get you unstuck and falling in love with your creative practice.
